The General Directorate of Health (DGS) announced this Sunday the existence of 1,840 deaths and 60,258 cases of Covid-19 in Portugal, since the start of the pandemic.
The death toll rose from 1,838 to 1,840, 2 more than on Saturday. The number of infected people increased from 59,943 to 60,258, plus 315.
The number of people hospitalized is 354, 9 more than yesterday, and in intensive care there are 2 more patients, a total of 43.
The number of reported patients who have recovered from Covid-19 has risen again in the past 24 hours to 42,953, 160 more than on Thursday.
