The Argentine professor had expressed his concern that the symptoms of the coronavirus did not pass.

An Argentine teacher died suddenly, before the eyes of the students, while giving a virtual class through the Zoom platform.

Paola de Simone, 46, has a degree in Political Science and International Relations, specializing in Human Resources, and taught at the Universidad Argentina da Empresa. She had symptoms of coronavirus for four weeks and shortly before her death she revealed her concern on Twitter, because the signs did not disappear.

The moment she started to feel bad, the students asked her for her address so they could help her, but Paola said she couldn’t give the information. Then she passed out.

Images from that moment were recorded and shared on the internet, causing outrage on social media.

The students remember the teacher as “a committed, responsible person and partner. An excellent teacher but, more than that, an excellent person, loved and admired by all,” they mentioned in messages. Married to a doctor, she had a daughter.
