Other highlights for Guimarães are the 7th edition of Westway LAB, from October 14 to 17, and the 29th edition of Guimarães Jazz, from November 12 to 21.
The program also highlights the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Vila Flor Cultural Center, with a concert, on September 12, with Teresa Salgueiro and the Guimarães Orchestra.

The executive director of A Oficina, Ricardo Freitas, who manages the cultural facilities in Guimarães, highlighted from the beginning the restrictions imposed by the covid-19 pandemic, in terms of capacity, as is the case of the large auditorium of ‘Vila Flor’ , which goes from 800 seats to about half.
He highlighted the work carried out so that everything works safely, making it clear that only what does not depend on A Oficina will not happen.
The cultural program for the last four months of this year also highlights the exhibition that will open on December 5, at the Palácio Vila Flor, which will bring together works by the 30 artists who have exhibited there in the last 15 years.
The 7th edition of Westway LAB will host nine concerts, with names like Ian, Miramar and The Legendary Tigerman.
The 29th edition of Guimarães Jazz will feature Portuguese musicians and backgrounds, including the Guimarães Orchestra, and foreign musicians living in Portugal.
