An age calculator? The subject of this article seems strange and we probably never wonder about our age on other planets. As we know, planets have different characteristics including their movement / rotation, which leads us to conclude that an hour or a day is not the same for all planets.

The Exploratorium virtual museum created a simple calculator that lets us know how old we are on other planets in the Solar System.

How old are you on other planets? See this calculator

While it takes Earth 365 days to go around the sun, the closest planet, Mercury, takes only 88 days. Poor, heavy and distant Pluto takes 248 years to make the same trip. In view of these differences, in terms of movement / rotation, an hour or a day is not the same for all planets, so everything that has to do with dates is different on each planet.

For example, on Saturn, a year comes to an end later 29 Earth years. This means that someone who is now 28 years old on Saturn would not have celebrated their "first year" yet.

How to use the "age" calculator?

Using this calculator is very simple. Simply enter the month, day, and year you were born and click calculate. As you can see in the image below, the calculator shows our age on the respective planets.

According to the Mirror, the years of each planet in the Solar System are related to its gravity. As is normal, if a planet is closer to the Sun, the greater the gravitational force there will be, soon it will have more rotation. As the planets are further from the sun, their attraction is less. The force decreases with the square of the distance, that is, a planet three times more distant from the Sun has a force of attraction nine times weaker.

The mass of the planet must also enter the accounts. The heavier it is, the greater its appeal.

Kepler's laws are the three laws of planetary motion defined by Johannes Kepler (1571-1630), a German mathematician and astronomer. These laws were Kepler's main contribution to celestial mechanics.
