IASAÚDE revealed this Friday that it registered four more positive cases in Madeira during the last 24 hours. The number of active cases thus rises to 46.
It is an imported case and three of local transmission.
“Today there are 4 new positive cases to report, so the region now represents a cumulative total of 171 confirmed COVID-19 cases. It is about 1 case imported from the Central Region and 3 cases of local transmission associated with a positive case identified in the North Region, of a traveler who spent a week in RAM ”, with two cases of local transmission in Funchal and one in Santa Cruz.
In terms of recovered, IASAÚDE adds that there is one more recovered to report, and the region now counts 125 recovered cases of COVID-19.
There are now 46 active cases, of which 31 are imported cases identified in the context of surveillance activities implemented at the Madeira airport and 15 are cases of local transmission.
