The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) today predicts a warm climate on the continent with clear skies, although with more cloudiness in the coastal strip north of Cabo Raso.
A light, sometimes moderate wind is also forecast from the east on the southern coast of the Algarve in the morning and from the northwest on the western coast in the afternoon.
The forecast also points to a small increase in the minimum temperature and a decrease in the maximum on the north and central coast.
The minimum temperatures will range between 14 degrees Celsius (in Bragança, Braga and Leiria) and 21 (in Faro and Portalegre) and the maximum between 25 (in Aveiro, Porto and Viana do Castelo) and 38 (in Santarém). .

Sixteen districts of the continent and the Madeira archipelago today have a very high risk of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
The districts of Braga, Vila Real, Bragança, Viseu, Guarda, Aveiro, Leiria, Coimbra, Santarém, Castelo Branco, Lisbon, Setúbal, Portalegre, Évora, Beja and Faro, on the mainland, and the archipelago of Madeira are today with levels high.
Even in the Azores, the islands of Terceira and São Miguel are at moderate levels.

More than 80 municipalities in 10 districts of mainland Portugal today have a maximum risk of fire, according to the IPMA.
The IPMA put more than 80 municipalities in the districts of Bragança, Vila Real, Viseu, Coimbra, Guarda, Castelo Branco, Santarém, Leiria, Portalegre and Faro at maximum risk of fire.
The institute also placed several counties in the (18) districts of mainland Portugal with a very high and high fire risk.
According to the IPMA, the risk of fire will remain high until at least Tuesday.
