PSI-20 derails with BCP at May lows – Stock Market

The national stock market closed, with the main index, the PSI-20, falling 0.12% to 4,324.00 points. At the end of the day, there was a tie: nine were listed in green and nine in red, which ended up having more force.

Global stocks are retreating as investors question support for high ratings that set multiple records, while the pandemic continues to wreak havoc.

Here, the heavyweight of the BCP maintained its negative record in the last 4 sessions and lost, today, 1.48% to 9.33 cents. After reaching 2.01% during the session, it reached a minimum of 9.28 cents, which has not touched since May 26.

EDP ​​Renováveis ​​was another of the big weights to fall, falling 0.69% to 14.32 euros.

Jerónimo Martins stops further losses, with an increase of 0.72% to 13.93 euros and the Altri and Semapa paper mills, which value, respectively, 0.83% to 4.37 euros and 0.50% per the 7.97 euros.

Sonae was also highlighted in green. The listed company occupied second place on the podium, advancing 1.09% to 60.55 cents, the day Sonae Indústria, the holding company of the Azevedo family, saw the acquisition of 88,962 shares by Efanor, reinforcing its stake in the company in which it launched a takeover bid.
