The General Directorate of Health (DGS) announced on Wednesday the existence of 1,827 deaths and 58,633 cases of Covid-19 in Portugal, since the start of the pandemic.

The death toll went from 1,824 to 1,827, 3 more than on Tuesday. The number of infected people increased from 58,243 to 58,633, plus 390.

The number of people hospitalized is 337, 13 less than yesterday, and in intensive care there are 3 fewer patients, out of a total of 41.

The number of reported patients who have recovered from covid-19 has risen again in the last 24 hours to 42,233, 129 more than on Monday.

PCP continues to sell tickets for the Festa do Avante, despite the maximum capacity defined by the General Directorate of Health, given the new coronavirus pandemic.
