“I can honestly say it hurts. Every day I try to build a better relationship with Russia and, on the other hand, there is so much concrete evidence that the Russian forces are doing it, “said the head of the German government in Parliament.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed frustration on Wednesday citing evidence of Russian piracy attempts and concrete evidence of “outrageous” espionage attempts.

“I can honestly say it hurts. Every day I try to build a better relationship with Russia and, on the other hand, there is so much concrete evidence that the Russian forces are doing it, “said the head of the German government in Parliament.

Calling cyber attacks “more than uncomfortable,” Merkel raised the specter of sanctions if such activity was not interrupted. German intelligence services have repeatedly denounced attempts by Russian hackers to spy on German political leaders and deputies.
