The Leiria Court ordered preventive custody for Valentina’s father and stepmother on Wednesday.
Sandro Bernardo is charged with Qualified Homicide and Domestic Violence. Márcia is also accused of qualified homicide. Both defendants are still charged with the crime of desecrating a body. The girl’s stepmother goes to the Tires prison, while the father will remain on remand in the Lisbon prison.
