Albufeira and Tavira have new cases, but the number of recovered people increases at a higher rate

The two new cases of Covid-19 registered today in the Algarve are in Albufeira and Tavira, according to information from the south. Even so, the number of cases recovered, which is already 205, continues to increase in the region at a faster rate than new infections.

Counting the numbers already confirmed (350), in cumulative terms since the start of the pandemic, and eliminating recovered people (205) and deaths (14), the Algarve now has 131 active cases, corresponding to 37.4%

At the national level, according to the DGS bulletin, doing the same accounting, the percentage of active cases is much higher and amounts to 85%.

Loulé and Albufeira are now, according to the data found today by our newspaper, the counties with the most recovered cases: 39. Faro is 38 and Portimão 28.

This Tuesday, according to sources contacted by the Southern information, there are only 12 people hospitalized due to Covid-19 in the Algarve.

Of these, three are in intensive care.
