A Google and Apple recently announced a joint proposal to help combat the Covid-19, establishing mechanisms in Android and iOS that would help prevent chains of contagion.
As The Verge says, the system would depend on the connections Bluetooth to establish a network and data smart phones who have been in contact with each other. The idea is that the applications of the health authority can access this data, being able to determine if infected had contact with other people.
Both Google and Apple intend to launch a dedicated app in the middle of the month. May but over time the intention is that it be implemented in the operating systems themselves. YOU CEOs of the two companies, Sundari Pichai (Google) and Tim Cook (Apple), guaranteed in publications made on Twitter that ensure that the process will be transparent and that the user’s data will remain private.
