This program was aimed at tenants whose family income had fallen by 20% and showed that the effort rate to pay the rent is now 35% or more. Yesterday, the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Pedro Nuno Santos, said that the Government is evaluating the possibility of extending this support.
The price limit ends
The prices that the Government has established as a maximum for gas bottles will no longer be in force when the state of emergency ends. In this period, an exceptional and temporary regime was established that limited the price of the 13 kg bottle of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) butane, type T3, to a maximum of 22 euros, the 11 kg bottle of LPG propane, also T3, at 22.24 euros, and the 45 kg LPG propane bottle, T5, at 81.05 euros.
