Through his personal page on the Facebook social network, the president of the Braga city council, António Vilela, explains that the local health authority guaranteed that this outbreak “is identified and presumably controlled.”

António Vilela also highlights that “the collaboration of the Republican National Guard will be requested so that, in the near future, the application of compliance with the legal regulations on the distancing and occupation of all food and beverage establishments and other services will be reinforced” .
The municipality warns that “if the evolution of the epidemiological situation requires it, the decision to restrict the respective hours of attention, as well as other additional measures that are justified, is not excluded.”
However, the text guarantees, “that at no time was the decision to create a possible sanitary facility taken into consideration” in the municipality of Vila Verde.
