According to Correio da Manhã, the incident occurred in front of the girl’s house, when she got into the car, after placing the baby in the back of the vehicle. The victim was run over by a van and projected several meters.
According to the same newspaper, the suspect ran away. However, the truck she was driving in was eventually found about 3 kilometers from the crash site and an 80-year-old woman was identified.
