After the case confirmed yesterday of a positive user for covid-19 in the General Integrated Continuous Care unit of the São João de Deus Health House, this Sunday (December 27) 16 new cases of infection by a new coronavirus were confirmed.
Institution decided to suspend the user visit plan

There are 13 users and 3 collaborators with positive results, after testing all the users and collaborators of that unit, said the director of the institution in a press release.
In the same note, Eduardo Lemos reveals that “all the positive cases now confirmed are asymptomatic” and that the relatives of the users of this unit have already been informed.
The institution has already activated its contingency plan.
“Casa de Saúde’s contingency plan is based on a Cluster strategy as a preventive measure, includes clearly defined isolation / contingency areas and employees are trained and informed about the precautions to take and the procedures to be implemented.”
“The isolation and follow-up of positive cases are in accordance with the indications of the competent health entities / authorities”, highlights the management.
In addition, the visitation plan remains suspended.
