Sónia Carneiro is optimistic about the effective reintroduction of the public into Portuguese stadiums.

The executive director of the League, Sónia Carneiro, this Wednesday took stock of the first pilot test for the reintroduction of fans in stadiums in professional competitions -which took place in Santa Clara-Gil Vicente, last Saturday- and set the goal of El 30 percent of the capacity for the parties that follow the decisive meeting of October 19, between the League and the Government.

About this meeting, Sónia Carneiro made an observation that involved the classic of the fourth day of the First League between Sporting and FC Porto, at the Estádio José Alvalade.

“As the meeting on the 19th is after the classic, I hope it will be the last of this season without an audience,” said the executive director of the body that oversees professional football, at a press conference.

Sporting-FC Porto has not yet defined a schedule, but it is known that it will be played on the weekend of October 17 and 18.
