With the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. Ongoing and upcoming release Super Mario 3D All Stars Next week, we thought it would be the right time for Nintendo Life readers to conduct a survey to find a definite ranking of 3D Mario games. Similar to our recent reader-ranked poll of the best Final Fantasy games (on Nintendo systems), we ask you to rate the 3D Mario games you’ve played from the shortlist below.
We’ve included all the mainline 3D Mario, including the DS remake Super Mario 64– The first way to play Mario officially on the handheld with new playable characters and mini-games officially play 64 3D Land And 3D World (Which is coming to switch to its extended form next February Super Mario 3D World + Bozer’s Fury). Subsequent entries may not offer the same style of open research as others, but there is little doubt that their respective titles are on this shortlist.
