The poll released Thursday by the Alliance for Youth Action found that 47 percent of left or Democratic voters in the 18-25 age range reported seeing ads for the Trump campaign on popular social media platforms. like TikTok and Instagram in the last month.

By contrast, only 21 percent of Generation Z, Democratic, or leftist voters saw digital ads for Biden’s campaign on the same platforms in the past month.

The new data suggests that the president’s campaign is giving a boost to young liberal voters.

There were also differences between the two campaigns for Democratic or leftist voters between the ages of 26-32 and 33-39.

Twenty-four percent of voters between the ages of 26-32 said they had been digitally contacted by the Trump campaign. 16% of the same demographic said they had been contacted by Biden.

17% of Democratic or unaffiliated voters between the ages of 33-39 said they had been digitally contacted by the Trump campaign, compared to 13% of voters who had been contacted by Biden.

“This is not a general youth survey. These are the voters that Vice President Biden should pursue, “the group’s executive director, Sarah Audelo, told Politico in a statement.

“Persuasive young voters are highly motivated to vote top-down this year,” he added. “But Vice President Biden has a lot of work to do to win his votes.”

Younger demographic groups tend to vote less reliably in elections, but were seen as a key factor in former President Obama’s (D) two general election victories.
