A couple of months after arriving in the US, Google finally released Pixel Buds in more countries around the world. Are you buying a pair? Or did Google wait too long?
Rewinding the clock until May, Google Finally released Pixel Buds, but it was a very restricted release. Stocks quickly ran out almost immediately at all retailers, colors were limited to white only, and, more annoyingly, they were only available to customers in the United States.
Now, however, Google has expanded the availability of Pixel Buds to almost every country it serves. That includes the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Australia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Singapore, and Spain. Japan, in particular, was left out.
For many users, buying Pixel Buds has simply been a matter of waiting for them to debut in more countries. I’m sure a lot of them, Google’s long wait and lack of communication probably drove the purchase of other truly wireless headphone options. For others, it’s a matter of lack of color options, waiting for Google to fix the issues, or just personal preferences. Anyway, we are curious about your thoughts. Vote in the poll below!
