Our friend @bioreconstruct on Twitter has taken to the skies today and is providing us with a wealth of aerial views of the parks. Earlier today, we took a look at the Jurassic Park roller coaster that is forming at Universal Orlando Resort, but it finally made it to the Walt Disney World property and giving us a first look at the temperature sensing tents installed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom before the theme park reopens on July 11.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
First off, we have Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is slated to debut a brand new arrival area for guests when it reopens on July 11. A total of three tents were set up before baggage check-in, two very close by and one on the side, presumably for cast members.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will officially reopen on July 15 and has temperature sensing shops set up for guests arriving at Disney Skyliner and by bus (it is not confirmed if Friendship Boats will be operating), as well as a second tent for parking arrivals. Metal barriers are configured to prevent guests from entering before undergoing the mandatory security inspection process.
And of course we take a close look at the temperature sensing shops in the Transportation and Entrance Center, but here is an aerial view of where they are located.
Once the parks are reopened, temperature controls will be required for all guests entering the parks.
