SUBIC – San Juan’s John Wilson was named the Lakan Chooks-to-Go MPBL (Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League) MVP of the Season on Sunday at Subic Bay Gym behind closed doors.
Wilson, 6-foot-2, former star of the José Rizal University Heavy Bombers, averaged 19.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists to lead the Knights to the North crown and the National Finals against the champion. del Sur, Davao Occidental.
