The NBA Finals could end on Friday night. The Los Angeles Lakers have a 3-1 series lead over the Miami Heat, which means they’ll have three chances to close things out. Golden State Warriors fans sadly know full well that no 3-1 lead is certain, so Game 5 should be an intense affair in what has been a fun series.

Every time the Finals are over, a former warrior will get another ring. The Lakers employ JaVale McGee and Quinn Cook, while the Heat have Andre Iguodala. But, with all due respect to those Forever Warriors, the series’ story is the stars: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Jimmy Butler.

So which one will the Finals MVP win? James and Davis have compelling cases, and Butler will be locked out if the Heat pull off a comeback.

According to the latest SB Nation Reacts poll, 46 percent of NBA fans believe James will win the award for the fourth time in his illustrious career.

James got roughly the same percentage of votes as when the question was asked before the start of the Finals. However, Anthony Davis gained about 20 points after his game in the first four games, in which he averaged 25.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks, while shooting 54.5% on 3s.

But the Heat have had more to worry about than just those two stars. They have suffered two brutal injuries in this series, All-Star Bam Adebayo and starting point guard Goran Dragic. Still, most fans think the Heat, who raced through the East despite being the fifth seed, would still be in trouble without injuries.

So what do you think? Who should win the Finals MVP if the Lakers close things out?
