With personalities like Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant on the team, the Nets could be two things. An excellent team that could become a dynasty or a changing room that crashes and wins nothing.
Since the Warriors are not in full power as before, they are no longer considered a dynasty. With Kevin Durant gone, and Klay Thompson will miss another full year, many believe they won’t be as dominant as before.
Golden State had a fairly successful offseason, both in the trade period and in the draft. The Warriors traded in for forward Kelly Oubre Jr. to help make up for the wing defense Klay Thompson gave them.
In the 2020 NBA draft, Golden State took arguably the best player in the second overall pick. Memphis’ James Wiseman is one player who can help this team get back on the winning track.
With all these moves, the Warriors could be a dangerous team this season. What does it mean if they beat the Nets, who are considered a championship contender?

If the Warriors were able to win their first game of the season against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, it could mean a lot of things.
Going into this season, the Network’s two superstars, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, are completely healthy. That’s something the Nets didn’t have last season.
Even with the two injured, Brooklyn was still able to reach the playoffs as the seventh seed. Led by Carris LeVert and Spenser Dinwiddie, they went to five games with the Toronto Raptors.
With a win on Tuesday, the Warriors could solidify their place in the West. In a conference packed with competitors, the Warriors need a big win to prove they are authentic. Most people think the Warriors will never be a contender again due to the loss of Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant who are no longer on the team.
