MANILA – The Philippine Military Academy confirmed Monday that some of its cadets and military and civilian personnel have tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement, the head of the PMA Office of Public Affairs, Major Cherryl Tindog, said a massive RT-PCR test was performed on campus, although she did not reveal when or how many tested positive.
“Although the AFP Cadet Corps has been isolated as a bubble from the outside world by canceling contact activities and employing the online briefing mode, there is still no foolproof system. One way or another, a bubble leak it can occur during the day to the daily activities of the entire community. Hence the need for massive testing, “said Tindog.
