Week 7 in review: Huawei P50, Samsung Galaxy A52, A72 rumors

[ad_1]

Welcome to another week’s recap. The Huawei P50 series made headlines: They will arrive at the end of March and will reportedly include three phones. Like the P40 series, the P50 will feature a vanilla model, a P50 Pro, and a P50 Pro +. They will run Kirin 9000E (P50) and Kirin 9000 (the two Pro phones) chipsets, but will not have Google Mobile Services.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 was another hot topic last week. A detailed leak solidified the specs: The 5G model will have a Snapdragon 750G chipset, a 64MP main camera, and a 120Hz 6.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED. The Galaxy A52 4G will have the same screen, only at a 90Hz refresh rate, and a Snapdragon 720G chipset. Both will work with a 4,500 mAh battery with a 15 W load and will have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, NFC, Dual-SIM and IP67 water resistance. The Galaxy A52 4G will be priced at € 349 in some European countries, while the A52 5G will cost € 429. The 4G and 5G models are expected to arrive in India in mid-March.

Speaking of India, the Galaxy F62 went official in the country this week. It includes a gigantic 7,000 mAh battery. Other highlights include a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 64MP main camera, Exynos 9825 chipset, and a starting price of INR 23,999 (6 / 128GB).

It was confirmed that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series will debut on March 4. We expect a 108MP main camera, a Snapdragon 750G chipset, and a high refresh rate LCD in at least one of the phones.

Finally, the OnePlus 9 Pro was leaked in detail this week. It will have a 1440p + LTPO screen with a refresh rate of 120, Snapdragon 888 chipset, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, 48MP main camera and a 4,500mAh battery with 64W charge.
