Going virtual for the first time in its history, the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET. The free broadcast will be available to anyone with antenna, cable or satellite.

Cable cutters can also watch with monthly subscriptions to various streaming services. For a monthly fee of $ 54.99, Hulu With Live TV and AT&T TV Now will broadcast live the ceremony hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. YouTube TV, which has a monthly fee of $ 64.99, also includes ABC. All three offer free seven-day trials.

The final live broadcast event is “E! After Party ”after the main ceremony at 8 pm PT / 11 pm ET.

The 2020 Emmy nominations were full of slights and surprises. HBO’s “Watchmen” garnered 26 nominations, including an outstanding limited series nod, while Netflix posted a record 160 nominations across all categories. Other surprises include the drama series nomination for “The Mandalorian,” as well as slights from “Better Call Saul” in the acting categories.
