MANILA, Philippines – Viva Artists Agency (VAA) has sued actress Nadine Luster for alleged breach of her exclusive contract.
In a report published by Bandera, citing an official VAA statement, the agency filed the lawsuit against the actress with the Quezon City Regional Court of First Instance on Friday.
The report cited that Nadine had violated her contract with Viva “by independently hiring advertisers, promoters and other third parties, regardless of the exclusivity of her contract with VAA.”
Nadine has been with Viva since 2009.
In 2014, his contract was renewed for another 10 years, or until June 2024, Bandera reported.
The following year, his contract with Viva was further extended until 2029.
meIn January, Nadine’s legal counsel, Atty. Lorna Kapunan said the actress has parted ways with Viva and is now “self-managed.”
“She will directly manage her affairs from now on, and reservations and inquiries can be directed directly to her,” Kapunan said previously.
