Vargas, president of the PBA, reveals that the league will spend P65M for Clark Bubble

The PBA bubble will definitely not be cheap.

The chairman of the board, Ricky Vargas, revealed that the league will have to shell out around P65 million just to resume the season in a closed environment in New Clark City in Angeles, Pampanga.

“The commissioner has always stayed away from that question. But I’ll tell you it’s about P65 million that it will cost us, ”Vargas said Saturday during his guest appearance on former commissioner Noli Eala’s Power & Play program.

Initially, the Board and Commissioner Willie Marcial declined to estimate how much the PBA will have to spend to lift a bubble similar to the NBA concept being held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
