The Florida State Boxing Commission recently released its list of medical suspensions for those fighters competing in UFC 249: pay-per-event (PPV) event “Ferguson vs. Gaethje” held last Saturday. night (May 9, 2020) inside the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
After five rounds of punishment, lightweight contender Tony Ferguson will be forced to serve a 60-day wait, though I imagine “El Cucuy” will need more time due to this injury. His opponent, Justin Gaethje, emerged without suspension.
Elsewhere on the card, Jairzinho Rozenstruick was slapped with a sit-in two months later. being crushed by the heavyweight crushing machine Francis Ngannou. Additionally, both UFC 249 co-headliners, Henry Cejudo and Dominick Cruz, were suspended for 45 days.

Just a quick reminder: fighters often return to action much faster once doctors give them the green light. Long suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. Furthermore, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often appear on follow-up tests.
