Prediction

Any prediction must take into account that Tyson is 54 and Jones 51.

Breaking down what they did in their careers decades ago doesn’t provide as much information as it normally would, and it’s hard to pinpoint speed one way or another. After all, Jones’ combination of athleticism and power stood out during his prime, and his reach advantage could help bring that speed into play as he tries to unleash a flurry of punches or combo moves.

Still, it is surely a mistake to assume that the speed will still be as impressive at this stage.

The thinking here is that power will make the difference in this one. Tyson is one of the most powerful fighters in boxing history and was more of a heavyweight than Jones during their respective careers.

Tyson could bring the speed too, but some strong right hooks can do the trick in this one. It certainly looked like it was able to land on some of the training videos He posted on social media before the fight.

Look for Iron Mike to hit with some of his proprietary punches and win through a sixth round stoppage.
