Nine-member K-pop girl group TWICE’s Jeongyeon will not be joining their upcoming second studio album promotions and activities due to anxiety.

TWICE will release the album “Eyes Wide Open” on October 26, which will be headlined by the title track “I Can’t Stop Me.”

In an announcement aired on October 17, TWICE’s agency JYP Entertainment informed fans about Jeongyeon’s health status.

“We would like to inform you about TWICE member Jeongyeon’s current health situation and her involvement in TWICE’s activity,” he said.

The agency said that “Currently, Jeongyeon is experiencing psychological anxiety to keep up with her schedule. Therefore, after deep discussions with Jeongyeon herself and other TWICE members, we have decided that it is necessary for Jeongyeon to have sufficient rest and absolute stability, accompanied by professional medical measures. “
