Roxanne Barceló has revealed that not only did she get engaged during the pandemic, but she also got married in a beautiful ceremony.

In her vlog entry titled “Hear Me Out” on Thursday, the actress shared that her partner proposed to her only a few months after the quarantine was implemented.

“I got engaged!” she said. “My partner asked me to marry him and he told me that he wanted to start a family with me. It was such a beautiful moment because he asked me twice, ”he added.

“Actually, he asked me a few months after the quarantine, but since the close of naka at noon, all we knew was that we would be married before the end of the year.”

Although the actress did not specify when exactly she and her partner took their vows, Roxanne shared that she knew he was the one for her.

“Totoo pala ‘yung,’ when you know it, you know it. ‘ I knew from the beginning na siya ‘yung para sa akin, ”said the actress. “As I said in my vlogs, he is worth the wait and so am I.”

Roxanne also took to Instagram to share snapshots of her happy wedding day.

Sharing photos of herself dressed in a beautiful long white dress, the actress wrote: “The best gift from my creator.”

Roxanne also shared what a good boyfriend her partner was to her, especially when her mother was stranded at home during Typhoon Ulysses.

“In 2009 my parents’ house was Ondoy. 2020 is Ulysses, ”said Roxanne. “Bongga, it looks like ‘Titanic’.”

Roxanne said her mother’s house was at the end of the street and she had to plead with rescuers to search for her. However, rescuers said that when they got to her home, her mom didn’t want to be rescued and just wanted to stay on the second floor.

“I said fear. Maybe another dam will open, ”Roxanne said, also noting that her mother didn’t have enough food and water.

She then said she volunteered to go to rescuers so she could convince her mother to go with them. However, her boyfriend was the one who volunteered instead and even loaded her mother onto the rescuers’ jet ski.

“She wasn’t touched by the water. They really picked him up and put him on a jet ski,” Roxanne said.
