TNT returns and dominates Geneva in the third match
TNT avoided another major collapse this time around and returned to Barangay Ginebra San Miguel with an 88-67 win on Friday night, reducing the latter’s lead to 2-1 in the PBA Philippine Cup Finals at the Cultural and Sports Center of the University Foundation of Angeles.
RR Pogoy led again with 18 points, but Jayson Castro and Troy Rosario finally stepped forward on the PBA’s biggest stage when Tropang Giga finally got on the board after squandering lead in the first two games in which the Kings had a couple of victories.
Rosario had 15 points, Castro also had 15 points while handing out 10 assists, while center Poy Erram posted series highs of 12 points and 14 rebounds.
