BARANGAY Geneva coach Tim Cone hopes TNT will come back strong after their loss in the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup final.

Cone expects Tropang Giga to compete for a title with a predominantly young core led by Bobby Ray Parks who still has a veteran lead in Jayson Castro.

“I think the whole world is going to have a rivalry against Talk ‘N Text,” Cone said. “They are ready to really go to another level. They are quite young. Jayson, I think, has a really good couple of years left while he can stay healthy. “

“Other than that, his core is very young with Troy (Rosario), (RR) Pogoy, (Simon) Enciso and Bobby Ray, still a second-year player. They have a very, very young core that they are going to build on and I think they are going to get better and better. “

“But San Miguel has something to say about it. I think the other team people should keep an eye on is Phoenix. They are a talented team that has built chemistry and they can also be a team to be reckoned with for years to come, ”Cone said.

“We will always have that corporate rivalry between us and Talk ‘N Text. San Miguel will have it, Purefoods (Magnolia) will have it and that will flourish. But they will have a say in who keeps winning these championships. Hopefully we’ll be in the mix too, ”Cone said.
