Three teams emerge from the PBA bubble
SMART CLARK GIGA CITY: As Typhoon “Ulysses” made its exit, eliminated teams NLEX, Blackwater and Terrafirma left the PBA Philippine Cup bubble for their respective homes on Friday.
All three teams finally had a safe trip back to Manila after the league decided to postpone their scheduled departure for Thursday due to dangers caused by Ulysses.
NorthPort, the other eliminated squad, has already emerged from the Pampanga bubble after their game against Meralco on Wednesday.
Away from home for more than a month, Blackwater coach Nash Racela said he would suggest to his players that they spend precious time with their loved ones.
“Spend time with the family, wala na dapat iniisip pa. We have lost 45 days of time with our family huh. It’s not just for me, but for the whole team. I would even suggest that when they get home they really spend time kasama ang pamilya nila, ”Racela said.
As for NLEX’s mentor Yeng Guiao, he said that they will definitely satisfy their food cravings by coming out of the bubble.
“We will eat what we do not eat. We will look for the foods we want to eat ”.
Four more teams will leave the bubble at the end of the quarterfinals that begin on Friday.
