Ferdinand Crisologo “Thirdy” Ravena will fly to Japan on Thursday morning to join the San-En NeoPhoenix team in the Japanese B.League.

TNT Tropang Giga head coach Ferdinand “Bong” Ravena confirmed to BusinessMirror on Tuesday night the departure of his second son for Japan.

“Thursday will be Thirdy’s departure for brother Japan,” Ravena said after TNT’s 112-101 victory over Terrafirma at the Philippine Basketball Association Philippine Cup at the University of California Foundation Gymnasium. Angels

Marvin Espiritu, the former star’s agent from the Ateneo de Manila University, also confirmed his ward’s 6am flight from Manila to Narita Airport in Chiba.

“I’m pretty sure there are quarantine protocol procedures that he must follow there,” Espiritu said, noting that the 23-year-old Gilas Pilipinas standout was able to complete all the documents of his stay in Japan.

Ravenna will play for NeoPhoenix, which is currently winless in four games.
