White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweeted another memo from the president’s doctor, Dr. Sean Conley, who claims that President Trump “continues to do well, having made substantial progress since diagnosis.”
In the memo, Conley says Trump completed his second dose of remdesivir on Saturday and “remains fever-free and without supplemental oxygen.”
He goes on to say that Trump spent most of the day doing business and “while he’s not out of the woods yet, the team remains cautiously optimistic.”

Doctors treating the president for Covid-19 created confusion early Saturday with comments during a briefing that appeared to change Trump’s coronavirus positive test and treatment timeline. Conley later issued a statement to try to clarify the comments.
The optimistic assessment of the president’s doctors about his condition, which indicated that he was feeling fine and had been “fever-free,” was contradicted moments later when a source familiar with the president’s health told reporters that the next 48 hours will be critical to determining how rates. That source was identified by the New York Times and Associated Press as White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
