Prince Harry has been around Princess Eugenie since childhood, and a long-distance move is going to change that.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have become estranged from many members of the royal family recently, but Princess Eugenie is not one of them.
Like his first cousin, Prince Harry has kept in touch with Eugenie despite his dramatic move to the United States with Meghan Markle last year. The royal couple are also reportedly getting along with Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank.
“Eugenie and Jack are very close to Harry and Meghan,” royal expert Katie Nicholls told OK. magazine. “It’s actually one of the few close relationships that Harry and Meghan have had in the royal family.”
The couple’s relationship with each other isn’t exactly surprising: Meghan knew Eugenie before she met Harry. “Eugenie and I knew each other before we met Harry so it was comfortable,” Meghan told Oprah. “We are friends with them as a couple.”

Eugenie has also always been a close confidant to Harry, who reportedly used to ask her for advice on dating and relationships. With only five years of age difference, the couple shared many experiences growing up. “Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest and a lot of fun. Harry and Meghan returned the favor in an important way, gifting the couple their home after they left for a new life in the U.S. Eugenie and Jack currently reside at the newly renovated Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, where they are busy taking care of your newborn baby.
