The number of daily hospital deaths from coronavirus in the UK has risen again, to more than 400.

The number of hospital deaths across the country increased again by 416, totaling more than 27,000.

NHS England has announced 350 new deaths from people who tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed hospital deaths in England to 23,709.

There were 350 deaths in England, 50 in Scotland and 16 in Wales confirmed in the last 24 hours, health authorities announced.

Of the 350 new deaths announced today:

– 90 occurred on May 10

– 44 occurred on May 9

The figures also show that 92 of the new deaths occurred between May 1 and May 8, 76 occurred in April, while the remaining four deaths occurred in March, and the earliest death occurred on March 17. .
