Based on the line of succession in the PNP, Cascolan is followed by the Deputy Chief of Administration, Lieutenant General Guillermo Eleazar as No. 2 in the PNP Command Group, the Deputy Chief of Operations, Lieutenant General Cesar Binag as the third in Command , and Chief of the General Staff of the Division General Joselito Vera Cruz as fourth in command.

Sinas is also the wrong (batch mates) of Eleazar, Binag and Vera Cruz in the Hinirang Class of the 1987 Philippine Military Academy.

Cascolan will leave the police organization this Tuesday after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56 years.
