While physical chess tournaments and sports remain
canceled or postponed bringing an entire chess tour online is what i feel is
suitable for chess now.

First there is the Lindores Abbey Quick Challenge, an online
version of Lindores Abbey Chess Stars that first took place in
Scotland in May 2019. It has 4 players that we saw in the Magnus Carlsen Invitational: Magnus Carlsen, Ding Liren, Hikaru Nakamura and Alireza Firouzja – which were joined by 8 players from Russia, Armenia, the United States, Poland and China who debuted on the Tour: Alexander Grischuk, Levon Aronian, Wesley So, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Sergey Karjakin, Wei Yi, Yu Yangyi and Daniil Dubov.

The format has changed since the Magnus Carlsen Invitational
to put more emphasis on the knockout section. This time the preliminary stage
will take place for just 3 days, with players playing each other once in eleven
15 minute + 10 second increment fast chess rounds

the quarter finals, semifinals and final all will be the best of 3 minigames (the first player to win 2 mini-matches wins), where each mini-match consists of four quick sets of 15 + 10. If a mini game ends
