11/22/2020 – The Skilling Open is the first stop on the 2020-21 Champions Chess Tour. With 16 participants, the event will be played from November 22 to 30. A single free-for-all tournament to be played Sunday through Tuesday will decide who proceeds to the knockout phase, while the top eight will advance to a 6-day knockout. Day 1 – Preliminaries
First, the 16 players will face off in a single round robin, to be played between Sunday and Tuesday, with five rounds per day. The top eight will advance to a 6-day knockout, with two days each to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
