Six PH teams in pursuit of the $ 100k prize in the ONE Esports tournament

Six teams from the Philippines are among the contenders in the 2020 Mobile Legends Professional League Invitational (MPLI), a tournament hosted by ONE Esports and Moonton, the developer of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Featuring the best teams from the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL), the tournament will take place online in five countries in Southeast Asia.

Twenty teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Singapore were invited, with a $ 100,000 jackpot up for grabs.

Scheduled to begin on November 27, the tournament will span two action-packed weekends with the final culminating on December 6.

The event will be broadcast to fans around the world via the official ONE Esports and Mobile Legends streaming channels.

“I am proud of how the ONE Esports and Moonton relationship has blossomed to now include this unique competition, which, for the first time, will allow the best teams from each of Mobile Legends’ four professional leagues to compete in an online tournament,” said Carlos Alimurung, CEO of ONE Esports.

The participating teams are the following:

Indonesia: Alter Ego, Aurafire, Bigetron, EVOS Legends, Geek Fam ID, Genlix Aerowolf, ONIC Esports, RRQ Hoshi

Malaysia: Orange Louvre Esports, Todak

Myanmar: Burmese Ghouls, Ronin Sports

Philippines: Aura PH, Blacklist International, Bren Esports, Execration, Omega PH Esports, ONIC PH

Singapore: EVOS SG, Resurgence

The tournament will be broadcast live in five different languages, including Bahasa Indonesian, Bahasa Melayu, Burmese, English, and Filipino. Details on the live stream will be provided in due course via the organizers’ social announcements and the tournament website at oneesports.gg/MPLI.
