Kevin Durant seemed in the mood to spend time on Twitter. On Friday, Durant participated in some discussions on the social media platform with some other users.
A remarkable conversation was when a user compared the current situation of Giannis Antetokounmpo with Durant from a few years ago. The HPbasketball Twitter account, which claimed to be an Action Network HQ writer, wrote that it would be disappointed if Antetokounmpo “rescued” as Durant had.
“As with KD, whatever Giannis does is his decision and it is not a moral choice. It is a professional choice that impacts his life, even if there are impacts on other people. I will be disappointed, as if he were with KD, if he withdraw, but not in it, only that happened. ” the tweet reads.

There has been talk of Antetokounmpo’s next free agency in recent memory, reports suggest that some teams have already begun preparations to be ready to sign him if available. With Antetokounmpo as the star agency, many have compared the situation to how Kevin Durant in 2016. Golden State Warriors were able to take the dream move, and reports have already been linked to a similar move once again for the Dubs.
The discussion on Twitter continued when Durant’s tweet caught the attention of basketball analyst Drew Shiller. It continued until someone asked why Drew Shiller always went after Durant. Durant wrote: “He is in love with me, but the drawing was always afraid to say something in person. Only the uncomfortable head nods hahaha.
Durant also indulged in a discussion that revealed how many believe current NBA stars are not as good as previous ones.

It is not the first time that Durant has engaged in an extended conversation on Twitter. One of the Twitter users, during Durant’s Twitter field day on Friday, noted how Durant has had similar days using Twitter and how it wasn’t very new. And it seemed that Durant responded in agreement.
