Despite the effects of the pandemic, the fuel retailer is on track to reach 600 sites by the end of the year.
Seaoil’s independent fuel retailer has opened its 500th station in the Philippines while continuing to meet expansion targets.
“The opening of our 500th station is part of our goal of driving a better future in every community and every neighborhood we are in,” said Glenn Yu, SEAOIL CEO, in a statement.
With the opening of the newest site in Pasig City, Seaoil said it is on track to reach its goal of 600 service stations by the end of the year, reports the Manila Bulletin.
“With the opening of more stations, Seaoil aims to create local jobs, provide business for new franchise partners and offer specialized promotions to serve the communities in which they operate,” the company said.
SEAOIL had previously earmarked Php 10 million ($ 204,000) to support the country’s efforts to combat COVID-19, offering free fuel and discounts to support leaders of hospitals, local government units, and transportation groups.
