MANILA, Philippines – Typhoon Rolly made landfall for the third time in the vicinity of San Narciso, Quezon, at 12:00 pm on Sunday, reported the Philippine Administration of Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa).

The typhoon, the strongest to hit the Philippines this year, made landfall for the first time in the vicinity of Bato, Catanduanes, early Sunday morning. It was followed by another landing in the vicinity of Tiwi, Albay at 7:20 am
According to the Pagasa severe weather bulletin at 2:00 pm, the center of the typhoon will continue to move over the Marinduque-Central Quezón area this afternoon towards the Batangas-Cavite area from afternoon to night.
It can be seen passing 70 km south of Metro Manila between 4:00 and 7:00 pm.
Pagasa noted that Rolly is expected to leave the Luzon landmass and emerge over the Western Philippine Sea on Sunday night.
During its journey through southern Luzon, Rolly is expected to weaken, but will remain a typhoon over the Western Philippine Sea.
At 1 pm, the center of the typhoon was last seen over the coastal waters of Mulanay, Quezon. It has maximum sustained winds of 175 km / h near the center and gusts of up to 240 km / h. moving west at 25 km / h.
