The biggest and brightest stars of Kapuso herald a night that remembers the difficult year that was 2020 and welcomes a new year with a unified purpose: to celebrate life, give thanks and spread hope by continuing the tradition. of excellence in providing world-class news and entertainment. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the GMA Network this year, the show begins with a nostalgic look at the station’s milestones. Lead presenter Alden Richards brings poignant songs to the stage about the importance of sharing the joys of the season. In collaboration with GMA Regional TV, it is joined by the best local artists from various regions of the country. All ready to lead exciting musical numbers are Lani Misalucha, Julie Anne San Jose and Christian Bautista. To add to the fun, stars Ken Chan, Rayver Cruz, Kyline Alcantara, Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Mark Herras, and Rochelle Pangilinan will also participate in the grand celebration. Viewers should look forward to performances by Hannah Precillas, The Clash’s great champions Golden Cañedo, Jeremiah Tiangco, and Jessica Villarubin, The Clash alumnus Garrett Bolden, along with StarStruck graduates Shayne Sava, Lexi Gonzales and Kim De Leon. As midnight strikes, a brilliant and magical drone show lights up the sky to officially welcome 2021.
