ONE Championship begins its December offering on Friday with “ONE: Big Bang”, which will feature two Filipino wrestlers in Rene “D’Challenger” Catalan and Jomary. “The Zamboanginian fighter” Torres on the card.

Meanwhile, Ms. Torres is looking to get back on the win column, after coming out empty in her last five-fight fight, the most recent being a no-contest.

The Filipino fighter, outside the Catalan Fighting System, opened her ONE career by winning her first three fights before going through a slump.

“I want to win this fight for my family, make them proud and help them. I want to knock (Phogat) unconscious, “said Ms Torres, who made her ONE debut in 2017.

He added: “I know I am the weakest here and people think I have very little chance of beating it. But I think I will surprise a lot of people ”.
