Barangay Geneva San Miguel guard Stanley Pringle won the 2020 Philippines Cup Best Conference Player (BPC) award, leading the Philippine Basketball Association Season 45 Special Awards winners ( PBA) virtual on Sunday.
The 6-foot-1 Pringle edged out other nominees for the highest individual award in TNT Katropa guard Ray Parks Jr., Terra Firma guard Dyip CJ Perez, and Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters guard Matthew Wright and forward Calvin Abueva.
Pringle, 33, scored 18.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists to lead Geneva to the Philippine Cup bubble title.
Pringle also led the award-winning Elite Five that include Wright, Abueva, Geneva forward Japeth Aguilar and TNT center JP Erram.
Meanwhile, Geneva center Prince Caperal claimed the Most Improved Player plum.
Caperal, 6-foot-6, had 9.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in the Philippine Cup.
Meralco point guard Aaron Black took the Most Outstanding Rookie award with averages of 7.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
Geneva guard Scottie Thompson took home the award for sportsmanship.
